Paisley 2 Ways

Hello my loves! So the cheesiest and most romantic day of the year is right around the corner..literally. I hope you all have enjoyed the looks that I have featured on the blog for Valentine’s Day, I have one more look to showcase before the day of LOVE arrives! I’m giving you the same dress but 2 different ways to wear it & accessorize it!

This is a simple v-cut dress with a bold paisley pattern from Southern Fried Chics. I’m a patterned girl, I love the boldness of patterns and the statements they can bring to an outfit. This dress stood out to me on their website because of the colors in the paisley pattern….pink, red/wine, white, baby blue, and plum purple..perfect colors for Valentine’s Day! Now I knew that this dress would go GREAT with my over-the-knee wine color boots from Heart Swoon Boutique… and I was right! The boots helped bring out that beautiful redish/wine color in the pattern, but I wanted to showcase the other colors as well!

So for my first time styling the outfit I paired the paisley dress, with the wine boots, a purple choker from Lisa B. Collection, and a blush pink fur coat! This easily took this simple cut paisley dress to the next level.

For my 2nd time styling the look I decided to switch out the blush fur coat to a metallic pink jacket. I accessorized the look with a wide wine choker and wine fringe earrings to match the color of the boots. Finished the look off with a cute blue handbag from bebe that matched the blue in the paisley exactly!

This blog post is to show that you can turn a simple cut dress into multiple looks, that are perfect for a date night on Valentine’s Day or just a night out with the girls! Don’t just wear a simple dress, take a few minutes to bump it up to the next level and make a statement, just by adding a coat or wearing a fabulous choker or earrings you can really change the look!
