Don’t let the title fool you! I am definitely not sad this holiday season, especially because the holidays are the perfect excuse to get all dressed up! And I love to do that!! Applying the perfect lip color, slipping on those beautiful heels you purchased, putting on that outfit that you have been waiting to wear, and finishing off by accessorizing with some sparkly jewelry…It’s so much fun to get glammed up!… Especially for Christmas and New Year’s Eve!
Every year I am on the hunt for the perfect outfit for the holidays.. both Christmas Eve & parties, as well as for New Year’s Eve! You know you have to have that rockin’ outfit to begin the new year! Best way to start it off.. am I right?! Well I found mine to rock the holidays! And it’s perfect for more than one occasion! You can rock it at those Christmas parties, on Christmas Eve, & even to celebrate the new year! I have been crushing hard on this velvet trend this year and when I found this hot little number, the jingle bells were ringing!
I am wrapping myself in blue velvet this holiday season! I am just in love with this deep rich blue! It’s so festive!! The plunging neckline of this cocktail dress is to DIE for! It definitely keeps the hot factor of the dress while the fit and flare of the high waistline adds a little fun and flirt.
I was jumping for joy when I found the perfect accessories for the look! I was able to find a matching blue velvet wrap choker! I couldn’t believe that the colors match identically!! Plus it is PERFECT because not only does it match but also has that little touch of sparkle, which is a must for your holiday party look! To tie the sparkle together I also decided to wear some simple rhinestone earring studs as well as bring some bling to my wrist with a rhinestone cuff. You could also have a rhinestone clutch for added sparkle, plus, ladies you know we need something to carry our phones & lip glosses in!
Now I wanted to do something a tad bit different, and more me! So I decided to trade in the heels for a pair of over the knee black boots. Thought it would keep with the edginess glam that I wanted for the look! And lastly but something you definitely won’t overlook… a FAB coat! This is a grand and luxurious outfit so you need a coat or even a fur stole that will make a statement and have all eyes on you! I wanted a dramatic piece for the outfit and I definitely think that this oversized blush fur coat was just the ticket! Talking about making an entrance… you will be the Holiday Hottie at all of your holiday festivities!
